Rhinoplasty
Redirect the focus to your eyes. The nose is not meant to be the focus of the face. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, can create a more refined and proportioned nose that not only looks better but also functions better.
Rhinoplasty Patient 72
Previous Patient Next PatientSeverely Twisted Nose And Bridge Bump Septorhinoplasty
This lovely patient had suffered with severe nasal congestion and blockage for many years. She also wanted to make her nose appear more straight and smaller while also smoothing her bridge hump. Dr. Lamperti noted that the patient had signs of a prior septum injury (in the before surgery base view photo you can see how the front edge of her septum fills up most of her left nostril opening). He treated the septum injury using an open rhinoplasty approach which allowed him to rebuild the severely crooked septum. The septum injury also caused the patient's tip to over-rotate so Dr. Lamperti brought the tip downward during surgery. Dr. Lamperti also smoothed the patient's bridge and made it look more straight on front view. In the photos taken 1 year after surgery you can see how the patient's nose appears more straight and harmonious with the rest of her facial features. Importantly, her nose also functions much better and her nasal airflow is much improved.
