Asian Rhinoplasty To Correct Crooked Nose And Refine Tip

This patient wanted to treat her severely crooked nose that she had for many years. You can see in the preoperative photos how her nose deviates significantly to her right side. She also wanted to refine her tip so Dr. Lamperti performed an open septo-rhinoplasty. This allowed him to both straighten the internally deviated septum along with her deviated outer nasal structure. As the patient's nasal bones were not particularly deviated (and the patient much preferred avoiding controlled bone fractures) he used clocking sutures to straighten the lower 2/3 deviation along with placement of a left spreader graft to help build-up the collapse on that side. To refine her tip Dr. Lamperti added tip projection using a caudal septal extension graft which also gives the patient's tip a less upturned appearance. In the 3.5 year after photos you can see that the patient has a much straighter appearance on frontal view along with a natural appearing tip.
