Rhinoplasty
Redirect the focus to your eyes. The nose is not meant to be the focus of the face. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, can create a more refined and proportioned nose that not only looks better but also functions better.
Rhinoplasty Patient 58
Previous Patient Next PatientRhinoplasty to Treat Droopy Tip, Hanging Columella and Strong Bridge
This Rhinoplasty patient sought the advice of Thomas Lamperti, MD to see what her options were regarding making her nose smaller and less long. During the initial office consultation Dr. Lamperti noted the patient's prominent, hanging columella and down-turned, over-projected tip which gave her nose an overly long appearance. Dr. Lamperti performed an open septorhinoplasty in which he was able to deproject the patient's tip along with tucking up her hanging columella. During this process he lifted the tip to create a bit more up-angulation. He also reset the patient's bridge profile line to match her new tip position. In the 1 year after photos you can see how the patient has a smaller nose that better fits her facial features. At the same time the patient's new nose maintains a natural appearance that looks like it's been there for years.

I feel great about myself and how I look, and I'm able to breathe through my nose again!
