Rhinoplasty
Redirect the focus to your eyes. The nose is not meant to be the focus of the face. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, can create a more refined and proportioned nose that not only looks better but also functions better.
Rhinoplasty Patient 40

This Seattle rhinoplasty patient came to Dr. Lamperti to see if it was possible to decrease the width of his nostrils. He also wanted to augment the upper part of his bridge to address a pseudohump deformity. Dr. Lamperti addressed the patient's concerns using a closed septo-rhinoplasty approach in which a septoplasty was performed allowing Dr. Lamperti to harvest cartilage for the radix graft. He then carved the cartilage into a double layer, laminated radix graft that was inserted at the upper portion of the bridge via a hidden incision inside the patient's nose. Separately, to reduce the width of the patient's nostrils Dr. Lamperti performed an alar base wedge excision. In looking at the one year postoperative photos you can see how the radix grafts has created a more masculine bridge, especially on profile view. Augmenting the patient's radix has the additional benefit of softening the patient's brow ridge. On base view you can see how the alar base wedge excision was able to create a natural, more narrow nasal tip width. Dr. Lamperti was careful not to over-excise the area so as to avoid an unnatural appearance to the area. Lastly, on oblique view you can notice how the alar wedge incision line scar is seemlessly hidden into the patient's alar-facial crease. Of note, no staged scar dermabrasion was performed.
