Blepharoplasty Patient 24
Previous Patient Next PatientCombined Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty and Ptosis Repair
This Seattle Blepharoplasty patient was referred to Dr. Thomas Lamperti by her optometrist to look into treating the patient's drooping upper eyelids (lid ptosis) and trim her excess eyelid skin (dermatochalasis). Visual field testing was done to confirm the patient's significant visual blockage and the patient proceeded to have surgical repair of her problem using an upper eyelid blepharoplasty incision. The patient's stretched eyelid muscles were tightened to elevate the lowered eyelid margin and the excess eyelid skin was trimmed to prevent skin from obscuring the patient's vision further. In the 3 month after photographs you can see how the patient has a much more resting and "awake" appearance thanks to the reconstruction of her eyelid drooping and removal of her excess eyelid skin.

I just wish I'd had you do my original blepharoplasties (not to mention ALL of my original face, neck, and nose surgeries!)
