Tracheal Shave Patient 5
Previous Patient Next PatientTracheal Shave To Remove Adam's Apple
This male to female transgender patient wanted to smooth her prominent Adam's Apple to further enhance her feminine features. Dr. Lamperti performed a tracheal shave procedure using a small incision at the top of her neck to create a smoother neck contour. He also used the intraoperative needle localization technique to pinpoint where the vocal cords insert into the voice box to avoid any vocal cord injury. In the 3 month after photos you can see a much more feminine neck line and reduced laryngeal prominence. The incision line is also very hard to see already and will continue to fade over the first year to year and a half after surgery.

I am confident for the first time in my life about my face. Thanks to my nose job surgery, I am no longer weary of people seeing my profile.
