Right Brow Drooping Repair Using Direct Mid-Forehead Lift Surgery

This gentleman came to Dr. Lamperti noting progressively worsening visual field blockage on his right side related to his asymmetrically droopy right brow. He found that if he elevated his brow he could see better. Dr. Lamperti noted that the patient had much improvement to his upper lid skin excess with manual elevation of the brow. Given that the patient had pre-existing prominent forehead creases Dr. Lamperti recommended a direct mid-forehead lift to raise the droppy right brow. Dr. Lamperti placed the incision such that the scar would be hidden in an existing skin crease. In the 5 month after photos you can see how the patient's brow height is much more symmetric with the left side and the forehead scar has healed very well and blends in wonderfully. Most importantly, the patient is very happy now that his vision is improved.
