Staged Upper Lip Dermabrasion Followed By Lower Face Medium Depth Chemical Peel Skin Resurfacing

This Seattle skin resurfacing patient came to Dr. Lamperti wanting to smooth her facial wrinkles. The patient opted to start with dermabrasion to her upper lip wrinkles. At the same time, Dr. Lamperti also improved the patient's skin volume loss by placing Radiesse skin filler in the patient's buccal cheek and marionette lines areas. Several months later the patient was ready to further improve the wrinkles over more of her face.  Using just local numbing medication nerve blocks was Dr. Lamperti was able to perform a medium depth chemical peel on the lower portion of the patient's face (anterior and lateral cheek, buccal region, lower lip and chin). Dr. Lamperti blended the treatment as much as possible with the upper half of the patient's face a superficial peel was done on the entire face and the peel at the demarcation zones was feathered to further aid in blending. In the 2-month post-treatment results photos, you can appreciate how much smoother the treated portions of the patient's face are. You can also see how the patient's treated facial skin seems less droopy and a bit tighter thanks to the new collagen production that the chemical peel prompted.
