The FDA recently announced some changes to how sunscreens can be labeled. They don't go into effect until next year, but they will force manufacturers to have their products protect equally against UVA and UVB sun rays in order to say the lotion provides broad spectrum protection. The rules also ban using the terms waterproof or sweat proof, since this is a false claim. Instead, the products can say how long, in minutes, the product is waterproof based on testing.
The benefit for all of us is that it will be much easier to determine which sunscreen is the best overall at protecting from both UVA and UVB sun. This will help protect us from skin cancer, sunburns, and wrinkling

I love the fact that I no longer look so tired all the time.
